Our Care Staff Fit in with Your Family
Being the parent of a child with care needs comes with many special rewards and challenges. We are here to support you if you need us. We have a dedicated Children’s care team who are carefully chosen for their caring nature and experience with caring for children. This way they can also care for any siblings and fit in with your family life.

We Adapt to your Needs
When arranging care with us you and your child are in the driving seat. You are completely in control of all care we deliver. The whole family will be listened to and supported in creating a bespoke care plan to meet your individual needs.
We can provide care at any time of the day, night and week. If you would like help for your child with personal care a few days a week this can be arranged. If you would like a good night’s sleep, we can arrange overnight care. We can also support children and young people with accessing their own interests, be they artistic, physical or just gaming on the PS5 (or Xbox!). We want to support you and your children to live your best lives.
The Process
If you think you might like to explore these options, the next step in the process is to arrange a free home visit. Our dedicated children’s care manager will arrange to visit you and your family at a convenient time. Together you can create a bespoke care plan just for your child(ren) and your family. Don’t worry, we can tweak things if it doesn’t suit you perfectly straight away. Each family is given a named care manager to contact with any change in needs or any queries and issues.
Children’s Staff skills and Training for Complex Needs
After going through our vigorous recruitment checks (including an enhanced Data and Barring Service check), we make sure all our children’s team have up to date training in all aspects of care including paediatric first aid and safeguarding children.
We have experience training alongside hospital nurses and supporting children who may need to go in and out of hospital. In this way we can provide care for children with very complex needs. We always introduce staff to children and train alongside you until you are comfortable that we can care for your children adequately.
