Testimonials
‘’I wanted to say a sincere thank you to all the lovely carers who have looked after my dad since early in 2022. They have been outstanding. They are truly special people who contributed greatly to my father being able to stay at home which was his dearest wish. All their patience and understanding brightened his day and gave him a positive start. Please can you pass on my heartfelt thanks to all members of your team.’’
‘’At this incredibly sad time, I am writing to thank you immensely for the amazing care you have been providing for XX for so many years. You have been so supportive and understanding throughout and always prioritised XX’s wellbeing and happiness and, quite challenging, needs. You have also supported me too in very difficult times and I cannot express how grateful I am, and how lucky I feel to have been able to rely so consistently on you. I am including here also the many wonderful carers, full- and part-time, who have been looking after XX over close to twenty years now. Please pass on to them my deepest thanks.’’
‘’I am very grateful for the service you are providing. The excellent Carers are very sensitive to my needs and do all they can to assist my daily living. Special mention of Beth; she would do well as a teacher of the art of caring. My mornings start very well with a hot bath, which is my first thought each day.’’
‘’My thanks again you for the lovely spa voucher gift from Crossroads Care, presented to me by one of your carers. We had a lovely chat and laughs whilst we tried to take a selfie with the gift!‘’
"As you know I, my wife, has now gone into care. Although initially this is two weeks rest bite, the intention is that if she settles it will be permanent. I want to thank crossroads and all their staff for the way in which they looked after I. The staff were experienced and brilliant. In particular, I would like to thank Jaz, in the way she was able to coordinate everything, and especially when changes had to be made to suit our needs. It took a lot of pressure off me. Once again, thank you very much."
"Thank you for looking after my mum you are all doing an amazing Job in caring for her. I would just like you to know I appreciate it."
"Thank you for your letter. I have been very slow to tell you all how much I appreciate your gift of the Fire tablet in the Spring. At first I was completely flummoxed by it, but John's helpful visit gave me the confidence to persevere until I could understand the email facilities enough to be able to write to you properly. It's giving me such pleasure to be able to use most of the complexities of the tablet now, quickly and easily, it's keeping me in touch with everyone, and what is most important, it's keeping the little grey cells alive! How essential that is when me - time is in short supply!
I will remember to keep in touch. Thank you. Our son, J, has recently been diagnosed with Parkinson's,on top of everything else, and may well need some support in the future."
"I've just met Beth and just dropping a note to say that I think she's amazing! Thanks for sending her to spend time with my mother."
"My thanks again you for the lovely spa voucher gift from Crossroads Care, presented to me by Paulette. We had a lovely chat and laughs whilst we tried to take a selfie with the gift! My family and I all noticed how much better Dad was over Christmas due to all the company and stimulation. He is obviously enjoying getting the regular outings with Vicky and Shelagh - and remembers that he goes to Exercise and Singing groups! We would therefore like to introduce another weekly session for him to participate in an activity or to go out on a visit. Please can you let me know what flexibility you currently have and if you have any ideas for local activities he may like."
"W and her husband called this morning to say a huge thank you to Jane, W was unwell and was refusing medical help, Jane felt she was having a stroke and called 999, it turns out had she not done this thing would have been a lot worse. They went on to say she is a credit to Crossroads and are glad we have so experienced carers working for us."
