Children's Care Worker

Crossroads Care is a registered charity with a long history of providing quality care services for children and adults in Oxfordshire, Berkshire, and the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.
We have a range of Children’s Care roles available which involve visiting and supporting children or young people regularly in their family home to provide them with the care and support they need.
This could include helping with any specialist medical needs, or providing support and companionship to children with long term conditions. The role is very rewarding and you will be helping to make a difference to the life of the child and their family.
We provide fully paid training which will include a Child Safeguarding Course and any specialist courses to fully equip you with the knowledge and skills to care for children with complex needs.

- Paid training in child safeguarding and for the Care Certificate

The role:
Tasks include:
- Checking on the welfare of the customer
- Giving companionship to the child or young person including outings and activities
- Administering medication
- Mobility support
- Helping with meals
- Helping with personal hygiene – washing, dressing and continence management
